Juniors Week 1
The Juniors make Romaca “go round” with their adorable smiles and laughter! We are keeping them busy (and they are keeping US busy!) here at Romaca starting the very first night at our campfire. They were all so spirited-decked out in their divisional color of RED! They were the most adored bunch on stage with their skits/songs in Get To Know Your Camper! Each bunk had an opportunity to introduce themselves to the camp and boy did their cuteness gain them extra points! They have certainly bonded with their older camp sisters this week while joining them in a camp sister rec swim and making costumes and dressing up with them for Twin Night. They loved learning and playing our big game of Predator for the first time. It is a giant game of hide-and-go-seek-tag and the big girls took such good care of the Juniors-even though those Juniors are fierce and can certainly hold their own with their sass! They enjoyed their first nature class and loved caring for and holding the leopard geckos, snakes, and chinchillas! They have even already conquered the ropes course, climbing wall and zip line. They have been extremely active and spirited throughout every day-whether they are waterskiing, playing soccer, playing a silly game of Statues, dancing, or standing on their chairs singing in the dining hall. It is safe to say…they have settled in nicely and quickly and have already stolen everyone’s hearts.
