Debs Week 4
Hello Debs Parents!
This week the Debs had some of the greatest visitors: their parents! Parent Visiting Day was so much fun! The girls were looking forward to their parents coming for days before hand, working hard to create posters and clean their bunks perfectly. They had a great time taking their parents to activities, picnicking and catching up with their families. Thank you to all the parents who came for visiting day!
It was a very exciting week in Performing Arts for the Debs as well. The Debs had a chance to watch another show, Footloose, this time performed by Clubhouse 7. Even more exciting than the Clubhouse 7 Show, the girls began to practice and prepare for their own show, Tangled! Rehearsals are going great, and the girls are working hard, trying to make it the best show of the summer.
As a nice break from their rehearsal schedule, the girls took a night off this week to attend Cliff Brodeur. For Cliff Brodeur, the whole camp came together and did some square dancing. It was a lot of fun to learn new dances, and remember the ones that were taught last year.
Another big highlight in the Debs week was Trip Day! This year the Debs went on a “mystery trip,” so all of the destinations were a secret until the day of the trip. The girls got clues on the way and tried hard to figure out each mystery destination. We did some shopping in Williamstown, visited the Clark Art Institute, and slid down water slides at Bousquet Mountain. We finished up the day with some ice cream, and got back to camp just in time for dinner. All of the girls had a blast!
It was another busy and fun week for the Debs, and we can’t wait for next week!
Sincerely,
Jenny
