Senior A’s Week 2
Good morning Senior A families!
Your girls are having a blast! They are so busy playing, running around, giggling with each other, and loving the new independence of their senior choice schedules. The girls were ecstatic to do “statues” the other night-a game I’m sure you are all familiar with-where they get to dress up in wacky outfits and “freeze” into a scene-it is always hilarious. Last Sunday and Monday were so busy with special events and July 4th-and we have had nothing but sunshine since we arrived and we are loving it! We watched the Sub Senior Show, Into The Woods-which was amazing, got the OOBS (male staff) all decked out for our annual Miss Romaca pageant, and played Counselor Hunt and Bench Ball for some of our recent evening activities.
July 4th was a full day consisting of Gold Rush, an American Rap Battle, Paint Your Counselor, The American Challenge (a waterfront day with a variety of American themed obstacle course activities) and, of course, fireworks thrown by our good friend, “Berkshire Bob”! We sure have been busy! The girls also tried out for their show, “Little Shop of Horrors.” This is their first co-ed production that they will perform with the boys and it will be at Greylock next week. The girls are excited for their upcoming week of rehearsals. The Senior A’s even had the opportunity to soak up some culture at Tanglewood the other night. They enjoyed shed seats for a Boston Pops brass concert-and they actually really enjoyed it!
I am loving your girls already and am amazed by their talent and energy in every area of camp. They swim at the swim meet, run in the track meet, play soccer in the tournaments, make beautiful art projects, and sing and dance! Thank you for letting me borrow them for a few weeks and call them my own :-)
Hard to believe-but-see you next week!
xoxo Debbie
