Senior A’s Week 3
Good Morning Senior A’s Parents!
Our third week of camp has been another week full of excitement! We have been rehearsing, preparing and successfully performed “Little Shop of Horrors” with the Greylock Boys. I am truly amazed at how quickly they learned their lines, songs, dances and how they came together as a division to put on a stellar performance. As part of their “prepping” for the show, I was thrilled to surprise them with tickets to go see the Berkshire Theatre professional production of “The Little Shop of Horrors.” It gave the girls great insight and understanding of what the show was about and helped them challenge themselves in their own production.
Some of the other highlights for the Senior A’s this week was Romaca’s version of International Day. This gave the girls the opportunity to travel the world in an afternoon and learn about where some of our staff are traveling from. They visited England, Ireland, Israel, Jamaica, and Japan and learned traditional Irish dances, ate latkes which was made by many alumni and Jeff and so many more amazing cultural activities. It was a great afternoon shared throughout the camp.
The girls are doing so well in their everyday activities. They are so active in all of their chosen activities throughout the camp. Many of the girls have been participating in tournaments here and at different camps. They have been playing in tennis tournaments, gymnastics meets, swim meets, and our very own Romaca track meet. The girls have so much to look forward to over the next few days. We have DJ Jeff, Treasure Hunt on Friday and finalizing our Birthday Night theme (Shhhh… it’s a secret!) The girls are anxiously awaiting your arrival to show you around the camp and their favorite activities. They are hard at work making you beautiful signs to welcome you to their summer home.
Safe Travels and I’ll see you all on Sunday!
