** Subs Week 3**
Hello Sub Senior Parents!!
The Subs have had an exciting week so far. Last Sunday they participated in International Day! We traveled to 7 different countries, on camp, learning about their heritage and foods they eat! We tasted homemade latkes, learned some great dances, had a proper English tea, slurped some ramen and even learned some Japanese! We have been spending quality time together as a division and enjoying lots of bonding evening activities-like wacky relays and Benchball. They are a competitive and feisty bunch and love to be spirited and rowdy with on another. The Subs are truly game for anything. They love late nights together, playing cards, dancing during clean up and playing Tenzi-among a million other things. We enjoyed another campfire led by Annex because Romrec was in Cape Cod, and there were green feathers everywhere when they left! The girls are very excited for visiting day, making wonderful signs to greet all the smiling parents. We have also had many Subs representing Romaca in sports tournaments, such as tennis, gymnastics and soccer; sometimes even in an older age catagory! Last night we danced the night away at DJ Jeff-a night they look forward to all summer. I loved tearing up the dance floor with your girls-they did not want to stop movin’ and shakin’ and even took the stage with some of the dancers! I can’t wait to meet all of you Sunday.
