Senior A’s Week 7
Hello Senior A’s Families,
All of the girls have departed and the counselors and I were terribly sad to have to say our final good-bye’s. This week has been full of excitement, fun, sad moments, silliness and lots of hugging.
At the beginning of the week the girls had their final divisional evening activity together. They were very happy to squeeze in a night swim where they were splashing around and enjoying having the lake all to themselves. On Sunday, the Subs division entertained us and put on fabulous Hawaiian themed Luau, the entire camp enjoyed an afternoon at the waterfront with a water slide, bounce house and dunk tank. The Subs put together a lunch feast that we all enjoyed and all of the campers had a special treat of flavor burst ice-cream. Starting Sunday we were knee deep in special events. Our evening activities were Secret Show, Last Campfire, Counselor Show, Banquet, and Slideshow/Wish Night. I am sure the girls will share all of the specifics when they arrive home.
I wanted to take this time to let you all know that I absolutely loved sharing this summer with your girls. They have grown so much and have been forming new friendships throughout the summer. I feel so lucky to have been their summer mommy for 2 summers. Please give them a big squeeze from me when they arrive home and let them know I can’t wait to see them in 10 months for summer 2017!!!
