Hello all!
What a fun-filled week for my beautiful inters. Let’s start off with one of the most awaited events of the summer: the Lip Sync battle.
I have one word to describe it……EPIC!!!
The girls were divided by bunk and had an hour to rehearse one song of their choosing. Who knew that in one hour we’d get choreography, costumes, and absolute perfection. The Inters chose artists such as: Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Moana, etc. The ATTITUDES and SASS the audience received from each performance was FANTASTIC! (I’ll admit, I requested much of the sass.) I was such a proud “parent” in those moments. One of the bunks made it all the way to round three!
Another huge event is DJ Jeff! The energy in the Rec Hall was mind-blowing. I’ve never seen so much dancing. Inters danced with their camp sisters and/or biological sisters, they danced with their counselors, they danced with me, they danced with everyone! It was so, so fun to be there with them and enjoy that moment.
We’ve also had a lot of smaller activities that mean so much. Sneak Outs are such a huge hit. The Inters Camp Sisters have been taking them out to play some outdoor games, dance in the barn, and enjoy each other’s company. The girls all love those moments of bonding; especially when it’s over a campfire and smores!
Jacob’s Pillow was another favorite. The famous International Dance Festival had the crowd (including us) in awe. The girls enjoyed the culture, the visuals, and especially the yummy food.
All of my little ones are so excited for this weekend. It’s going to be so awesome!!
