Hello again SUBS families!
What an eventful week we’ve had here at Camp!
Visiting day was such a success! Having all of you here together was such a beautiful sight to see! The girls were so proud to show you off and I was so happy to finally meet all of you! The day was filled with so much love and happiness! We shared so many laughs, adventures, stories, and even a few tears but seeing the girls take care of one another really warmed my heart! I LOVE MY BABIES/BIG GIRLS!
Clubhouse 7 preformed High School Musical Sunday night so that lifted the girls’ spirits as they sang along to EVERY SINGLE SONG and ate mountains of candy! It’s amazing to see how much these little girls can eat in a couple of days haha!
Monday morning the girls woke up and were off to their hike! The day was beautiful and the girls had so much fun on their trail. They told stories around a campfire and were pros at setting up tents! They came back Tuesday morning exhausted and were so happy to have the morning off to just eat and chill with their bunk mates!
Later that night we all changed into our cowgirl gear for Cliff Broduer and it was such a hit! There was every kind of flannel shirt and even cowgirl hats! The counselors were doing braids on everyone! The girls danced to Cotton-Eye-Joe and threw it down in partners as they danced the hoedown throwdown. What cuties!
Then came all beloved TRIP DAY! We went to Six Flags in New England and we really had such a blast! The day was beautiful and there were no lines!! The girls are still talking about all the rides they rode and how scary they are! We really have some brave and fearless girls on our hands! We came back so tired and jumped in the lake for a night swim evening activity! It was the perfect refresher to end our amazing day! Thank goodness for late wake up!
We are recharged and ready to move into next week! The girls are looking forward to our social at Greylock and are already giving me outfit ideas!
