Romrec, Week One
Hello RR Families!
Summer 2018 is officially in full swing! Romrec started off the summer ready to lead and show the camp how excited they are to be back in their summer home. Everyone loved their Rolling Stones T-Shirts as they showed them off in the dining hall on the very first night. It was so amazing to see the girls lead their first campfire of the summer. They chanted as they walked in and sang some of their favorite songs. Their Get To Know Your Camper song was so funny and catchy and I know they loved getting up on stage to formally introduce themselves as Romrec 2018. We had a hugely successful game of Predator. Romrec leads the teams and wears a whistle (their favorite part ;-) and they were so psyched to hear which RR camper lead which team in the game. They even got to run around the tennis courts that evening with Annex and Clubhouse as the rain poured down to cool down the warm air. Definitely a moment they will never forget as they got to bond with the other Senior B’s! And they got to build their relationships even more by playing statues for evening activity-I am sure you can imagine how wacky they all get when they are asked to dress up in a camp scene all together. They also got the chance to bond with their camp sisters for Twin Night. I loved seeing how much of an amazing time they had being big sisters to these girls. Coming up, the girls have their Romrec cheerleading tournament, which they are eager to participate in. I am also surprising them with their first Greylock social of the summer! (Shhh!) As we begin the first week of activities, I am so excited to see the girls shine and show the camp that Romrec 2018 is here and it’s going to be the best summer yet!
