Senior A’s, Week One
Dear Senior A Families,
I am so thrilled to be taking care of the Senior A girls this summer! The first week of camp has gone by so quickly and I already see some new friendships happening. We have had a week packed with evening activities such as Get to Know Your Counselor (skits performed by the staff) & Get to Know Your Camper (skits performed by the campers) which were adorable, as always. Sunday morning was picture day and I must say that we have a beautiful and photogenic group of girls! Later Sunday afternoon the entire camp played Predator which is where the camp is divided into 4 different animal types on the food chain. The girls got all dressed in camouflouge and dark clothing so they would blend in with the surroundings. They then played a form of tag/hide and seek which is a favorite high energy game. Towards the end of predator, it started drizzling which the girls LOVED! I think they believed that the rain was part of our plan! :) We had an all camp Twin Night where camp sisters dressed up in pairs and were judged based on creativity, craziness, most original, funniest and a few other categories. It was a great opportunity for the girls to bond with their camp sisters. We had our first social last night. They were absolutely adorable as they helped each other with outfits, hair and prepping for their big night. The Senior A’s and I had our first conversation about Birthday Night. We finalized a theme which is TOP SECRET (even from mommy and daddy)!! This is a huge responsibility for the girls and will be a great opportunity for them to work together as a division. I am optimistic that this will be a huge success and I can’t wait to see the girls’ creativity come to life.
I hope you have had a great week and I thank you for sharing your amazing girls with me!!!
Warmly,
Debbie
