Clubhouse 7, Week 4
Hello Clubhouse Families!
What a wonderful week we have had, it’s been crazy but the girls have managed to pack so much in! We hope you enjoyed our version of Fiddler on the Roof on Visiting Day. These girls always seem to amaze me with how quickly they learn their parts, I think it was an all time record of 3 days.:).
I enjoyed seeing you on Visiting Day as well as the girls loved seeing you guys and having a relaxing day. They are always so proud to welcome you to their summer home and show you what they have been up to for the last 3 weeks! On Tuesday evening we had our very own hoedown Romaca style with the legendary Cliff Broduer! The girls braided their hair and put on their plaid shirts and rocked the hoedown! We quickly packed up that evening to head out to Newport, RI. We departed camp Wednesday morning for our three day adventure. We are in Newport, RI now and we have been to see the magnificent mansions and have gone on a relaxing sail boat ride around the harbour. The hit of the trip so far was the comedy show at The Firehouse Theatre. The girls and staff alike had the best time and I’m sure they’ll tell you all about it in letters home.
