Juniors, Week 3
Hello Junior Families!!
We are heading into week 3 here at Romaca, and camp life has been going better than ever, especially with the cooler weather! We spent evening activity on last Thursday playing counselor auction, and the prizes were fantastic. The auction was intense and fast-paced, but the Juniors held strong and received some great prizes. Bunk 3 of the Junior division bet and won a movie night in the lodge, and Bunk 4 won an ice cream party! On Friday the Juniors got to get even more competitive during a kickball game with their camp sisters! We split the teams up evenly, with every Junior paired with their camp sister. The game was so much, with the older girls letting the Juniors pitch and even running the bases with them if they wanted! It was the perfect opportunity for the Juniors to bond and reconnect with their camp sisters, and everyone loved it.
The weekend flew by for the Juniors with their schedules full of rock climbing, water skiing, soccer, softball, yoga, etc! On Sunday afternoon the whole camp got broken into teams and we all competed in an all camp World Cup tournament! Each team was named after one of the teams that are still in the 2018 World Cup finals; France, Belgium, Croatia, and England. The games went great and we wrapped everything up with ice pops in the shade. The weekend was busy and we have all jumped right back into Monday with more activities. The big excitement for this week is DJ Jeff; where all the campers get to design t-shirts, dress in neon, and dance the night away! All the sweet little Juniors are pumped for it and can’t wait!
