Sub-Seniors, Week 3
Hello Again Sub-Senior Families,
What an eventful FUN week we have had at camp! Time flies when you’re having fun… Hard to believe we are now in the third week of camp ALREADY!! Well we are DELIGHTED that the HOT weather has disappeared and we are enjoying the breeze of cooler air again. We had a jam packed week with activities and things planned. We enjoyed watching and cheering the Annex girls on for their show “Beauty and the Beast”. The girls always love watching the older girls perfrom. A definite highlight of the summer was their FIRST SOCIAL! I mean talk about excitement. The girls had their outfits picked for days and they looked perfect. I mean the FULL WORKS. The girls had the best night ever. I may be a little biased but they all looked Beautiful. The girls enjoyed the night from start to finish. They are such confident, happy girls who are rays of sunshine. I WAS A PROUD MOM!
We have enjoyed some evening activities with other divisions and played a game of kickball against the Debs. We have a competitive bunch of girls and councilors in our division… I LOVE IT!!! On Thursday we have our annual night of DJ Jeff, definitely a camp favorite! The girls have been busy practicing their dance moves.
We are also looking forward to Garbage to Catwalk on Friday night, I can’t wait to see what this season summer outfits will be. Garbage to Catwalk is a new all camp evening activity where the girls will have to use their creative streak ( which they all have ) in order to make new fashionable outfits and present them to the rest of camp.
I am blessed to spend another AMAZING summer with these beautiful young ladies. You should be very proud of them!! I know I am. The polaroids captured every moment that we have made and will last a lifetime.
