Trainee and Floaters, Week 5
Hello All,
The Trainees’ and Floaters’ have quickly and flawlessly adjusted to being back at their summer home. It is great to have their excited energy back on camp as alumni. They are enjoying part of their day participating in divisional activities and the second half of their day instructing campers in activities areas that they have chosen to work in and love. They are amazing with the younger campers and they will soon make FABULOUS counselors. They have been assigned to a division this summer and they participate with that division during evening activities. They are having a blast getting to know the girls around camp.
They have also been busy planning Apache Relay with Daniel. They enjoy putting this together and making sure that all the items needed for this event are put in the proper place. For some, this is the first time that they are involved in some Olympic fake outs. They enjoy teasing the rest of the campers into thinking the it is the REAL DEAL… OLYMPICS!
We are so happy to have the girls here for a few weeks. This time is so precious to them, for as you know, teenagers these days always have a jammed packed schedule at home and more often than not they don’t get to spend the quality time with the summer sisters that they love. Thank you for giving them this gift of camp.
