Inters, Week 7
Hello Inters Families,
Olympics finished out with a BANG…They all participated in activities throughout the week to work together in achieving points for their teams which was great to be a part of. They all ended with performing their team cheer, pep and sweet song and finished the exciting week all together as a family.
The girls got to hang out and play by the waterfront for Subsway, the theme was Netflix and they had inflatables there for the whole camp to enjoy, the girls loved going on the slip n slide and dunk tank They were all spending time together as a division on the inflatables which was great to see and I also got to spend the whole day with them enjoying all the great work the Subs had put in to make this day extra special. During the day the girls also went to Hinsdale Trading company for ice cream which was a lovely treat for them, they got to pick their favorite flavor ice cream with rainbow sprinkles (of course).
The evening activity on Sunday night was Secret Show which was performed by the Senior B’s; Clubhouse 7, Annex and Romrec. All the younger campers were blindfolded and brought into the Rec Hall to keep the theme a secret, once everyone was in the Rec Hall they took off the blindfolds to find out the secret show theme was…..MATILDA! The show was so funny that laughter could be heard throughout the Bershires. On Monday evening the camp participated in our last campfire of the season. The Inters were all decked out in orange spirit wear for the last time this summer, sitting around the fire singing camp songs one more night as a family.
Even though the summer is coming to an end there are still so many great events we have going on during this week including; Movie day, Banquet, slideshow and Wish Night. These events will be great memories for the girls to make before heading home and I am so happy I get to share these special moments with them. It has been so much fun spending time with them and watching them try and learn new things. I am honored to have been a part of their camp journey and can’t wait to see what next year holds for them.
With love,
Adri
