Hello Deb Parents,
I am so delighted to be spending another summer with your fabulous girls! This week we have spent a lot of time getting to know one another/getting reacquainted and they are really an amazing group of girls. Once the girls were settled in on the first night, we had an all camp campfire and Wish Night where everyone was handed a candle so that they could make their own special and unique wish for the summer ahead. Debs were decked out head to toe in yellow to show our Debs pride.
The theme for the Debs bunks this year are Little Debbies. The bunks are Strawberry Shortcake, Star Crunch, Zebra Cake, and Cosmic Brownies! The counselors did an incredible job of decorating before the girls arrived. The girls were so excited to see their new summer homes!
Throughout the week we had a lot of fun activities including: Getting to Know your Camper and Counselor, Lip Sync Battle, game night with the Senior A’s, Gaga, Ships & Sailors, and learning the Romaca Alma Mater as well as the Debs’ cheer! The girls are also looking forward to all the fun activities that come with Camp Romaca’s 4th of July celebration, including an all camp game of Predator, cookout, and going to Berkshire Bob’s to watch the fireworks!
They are such a wonderful group and I can’t wait to get to know them better over the next 6 weeks!
