Dear Inter Families,
This week of camp has been such a joy! Contrary to the rainy weather, the girls were able to stay active and entertained. This past Sunday, we performed our matinee show “Annie”. I enjoyed seeing them light up the stage! Their singing and acting blew me away! All of the girls put on an awesome performance and I was gleaming and so proud. It was so awesome to kick off the summer shows with our girls gracing the stage!
Sunday was also our July 4th Celebration and the camp had a blast! They played a camp-wide game of Predator (TAG)! They painted their counselors in red, white and blue and we saw a phenomenal firework show right at Berkshire Bob’s.
This week I also enjoyed spending time with the girls at the waterfront. I watched quite a few of them jump from the wibit and swim in deep water. These girls are all so brave! Their confidence and courage is infectious and inspirational! We have made some great memories together out on the lake. I paddle-boarded with them, shared some great laughs and finished it off with some yummy ice cream.
I also had the privilege to see the girls challenge themselves on the rock climbing wall and walk on the high ropes in Nature. They were careful but brave and it was a joy to witness them navigating the high ropes and zipline.
Some highlights from this weekend include “Twin Night ‘’ and our Inters Hike! This hike is a highlight of the Summer! We hiked for a couple of hours in the morning and then camped out for the night up at Nature (on camp) in tents near a campfire! We sang campfire songs, made smores and enjoyed the beautiful woods!
Sincerely, Danielle
