Dear Senior A Families,
It’s hard to believe that it has already been two weeks of camp! This past week has been full of fun events and activities, from fireworks at Berkshire Bob’s to outstanding costumes at Twin Night.
On Sunday, we celebrated the 4th of July Romacan-style with our annual Paint Your Counselor event and a special Independence Day themed game of Predator. The girls loved the new take on this camp favorite game with the introduction of an American themed food chain: chipmunk, groundhog, deer, grizzly bear, and bald eagle. We spent the evening watching fireworks at Berkshire Bob’s, eating lots of candy and laughing the night away.
The Senior A’s started their senior choice on Monday and have been enjoying their personalized activity schedules so much! We have had nights full of fun evening activities, including a game of bench ball and a balloon relay with the Juniors. Everyone joined together during a rainy night for a mani-pedi spa and painted each other’s nails while brainstorming themes for Birthday Night. The next night, we decided on our theme unanimously!
On Friday, we made the best of a rainy day with fun all camp activities, including Bring Me, ROMCO, and Twin Night! The Senior A’s were such good camp sisters and created the most special and unique costumes for their Twin Night presentations.
I’ve been loving how much the girls have branched out from their bunks this week. It’s amazing to watch them make new friends and strengthen old friendships as they form special bonds within our division. This is my favorite part of the Romacan experience and I am so proud of how these young ladies have pushed themselves to get to know everyone all over again!
Warm Regards, Amanda
