Super Juniors Week 2

Hello Super Junior families!!

As the summer continues to fly by we are now at the end of week 2 without a dull moment in sight. On Sunday we started with a super fun Indepence Day celebration where the Super Juniors had the opportunity to paint their bunk counselors during our annual Paint your Counselor activity and played an all camp game of Predator (which is similar to an enthusiastic game of tag). Later that evening we went to Berkshire Bob’s where we saw an epic firework show!

The week continued with lots of spirit and cheering as the girls learned the songs to sing at campfire and the cheers for the dining hall and around camp. Their overall favorite cheer is “Shake Your Booty”. I believe they love it because it allows them to get up and be silly and LOUD! One of my favorite “special” moments of the week was when we made “Thank you” letters for people around camp. This gave the girls a chance to show others around camp how much we appreciate everything they do. They sent thank you letters to some counselors, maintenance staff, and kitchen staff who make our meals every day.

Across the board, the Super Juniors favorite activity this week has been gymnastics. They love getting to jump around, balance on beams, and jump into the foam pits. These super stars never fail to impress me and I can’t wait to continue seeing all the ways they shine! This weekend we got to experience Twin Night, where the girls created costumes and dressed up with their older camp sisters. The girls were also excited to watch the Annex girls perform in their show on stage in the rec hall.
