Hi Senior A parents!
It was so nice to see and talk with you on Parent Visiting Day! It was an incredible day and such a pleasure to see you all with your girls. Following Visiting Day on Sunday, Cliff Brouder came to camp on Monday night for an all-camp favorite event of line dancing. The girls dressed up in their flannel shirts and got down with the Hoedown! On Wednesday and Thursday, the Senior A’s headed out for our Lake George & Saratoga trip. When we first arrived, we started with some souvenir shopping and then boarded the Minnie-Haha steamboat for a tour of the gorgeous lake. Next, we headed to a bowling alley for some bowling fun and bumper cars! The girls had a blast! Some were seen showing off their top-tier abilities while others had a laugh bowling Granny Style. We concluded the night with a swim at the hotel pool, filling the whole room with laughter as we played Sharks & Minnows and Chicken Battles. In Saratoga, we had a yummy bagel breakfast and enjoyed more shopping in the lively town before heading to Howes Cavern. There, we walked through the nearly 6 million year old cavern and took a boat ride through its underground river. Heading back towards camp, we devoured a delicious Hibachi meal at Koto. All in all, the girls had a wonderful time on the trip and were ecstatic to be back on camp. We are continuing preparations for Birthday Night this upcoming Tuesday- it’s going to be amazing!
