Hi Annex Families,
I literally feel like it wasnt so long ago I was writing to you all as ‘clubhouse families’ but yet here we are ANNEX 23!
What a first week we have had, lots of rain, lots of purple and lots of craziness! I wouldn’t have it any other way! We started off the week with our first campfire and wish night, the girls were decked out in all purple, singing as loud as they possibly could! Proud momma moment to have them all back together!
You might have seen that we have had a lot of rain but that hasn’t stopped our fun, the girls have actually gotten to go around to activities as a division whether it be a rainy day schedule or we managed to get outside between the raindrops! But we are now in full senior choice schedule!
The week also started off with ‘get to know your camper’, literally over the first few days the girls came up with a whole song to introduce themselves to camp, they changed up the words to Beauty and the Beat by Justin Bieber, bopping along in their purple sugar lips!
Also the rain has given us a little advantage, we’ve gotten to start banquet prep early this year! Those of you who don’t know, Banquet is an event at the end of the summer that Annex comes up with a secret theme, decorations, menu, costumes, to bring our summer to a close and celebrate achievements over the summer. The theme is all locked in as are the committees for what they will be working on but it’s a secret so shhh. I can’t wait to fill you in on their progress and also for you to see the pictures at the end of the summer.
But for now, the sun is shining bright! We have just finished rec swim, so I’m going to hang out with the girls in their activities. Speak to you all soon!
