Hello Deb Families!
I truly cannot believe that we are beginning our final week at camp. We are practically begging for the time to slow down, even just a little bit. Our week has been PACKED with Special Events and lots of bonding moments.
Sunday was Grandparent’s Visiting Day and it was sure to create some lasting memories for the girls. I loved meeting all of the grandparents that were able to come out as well as dressing up like one for the girls who didn’t have a grandparent in attendance. We then had our second to last campfire, which was loud and full of energy, but also bittersweet.
We finally had Debs Carnival on Monday and it was a HUGE success! Our theme was… drumroll please…… TOY STORY aka DEBS STORY. The girls worked super hard and that all showed on Monday. Greylock came to enjoy the day with us and it was truly one of the best days of the summer so far. Keeping up with the high energy from Monday, Olympics broke out Tuesday night! We welcome Singapore, Ghana, Austria and Ecuador to Romaca!
Our week since then has been full of Olympic games including a track meet and a swim meet. The Debs, though split up, are absolutely crushing all of their events and I am so proud of them.
Time has flown by here for us and I am not ready for Friday morning. Let the countdown begin :( Thank you for your continued support throughout the summer and I look forward to seeing some of you during Family Camp next weekend!
With Much Love, Ashley, the Director of Fun for the Debs
