Annex Week 4

Hi Annex families,

Sunday was everyone’s favourite day- Visiting Day. It was so nice seeing all the girls spending time with their families and I had a great time meeting everyone. When the time came to say goodbye, the girls were so good in comforting their younger camp sisters which made me super proud of them.

Monday was back to activities for the girls with a much needed late wake up. Monday was completed with a social with the Greylock boys.

Tuesday was a fun day, with the All Camp activity of Little Miss Romrecer. The Annex groups C and D emerged victorious. We then had a quiet evening to get ready for our big trip.

Wednesday morning we left for Boston. Our first day was filled with a tour of Fenway Stadium, a few hours of shopping and a nice dinner that evening. The girls and myself were very appreciative of the air conditioning!!

Thursday was our only full day in Boston. We got up early and engaged in a guided tour of the Freedom Trail. The girls then had a bit more time for shopping and lunch before going to the New England Aquarium. Here they got to touch sting rays and watch sea lions being trained. We headed back to the hotel for a chill evening where we got the opportunity to swim in the pool. Pizzas were delivered for dinner and the girls decided to do a secret Santa amongst themselves. We then took part in a painting class in the hotel before heading to bed.

Friday morning we got Dunkin for breakfast followed by a duck tour of the city. We took lots of pictures and then went for lunch afterwards before returning to camp in time for dinner.

It was a very busy week and we all had a great time.

Lots of love,

Caoimhe
