Inters Week 3

Hello Inter Families!

Another week here at camp has flown by! This week has been jam packed with activities from exciting shows to thrilling tournaments and everything in between, with each day bringing brand new memories for our Inters.

We started off the week by watching two shows. On Saturday evening we watched the Annex girls perform their version of Camp Rock here at Romaca. Then on Sunday evening we ventured over to Greylock to watch the Senior As take to the stage with Greylock to perform School of Rock. Both shows were incredible and are making the girls more and more excited for their show later on in the Summer.

On Sunday we also all had fun taking part in Romacaween. This is a great all camp event that combines the Halloween spirit with a Romacan twist! All the girls got assigned a costume from Barbie to Minions to 80s workout girls and then went around with their groups to different activity stations. They got to decorate cookies, bob for doughnuts and much more. We also had “trick or treat” stations dotted about the camp where the girls had to solve riddles and puzzles to earn extra candy to put into their newly decorated “trick or treat” bags.

Thursday night also brought us a special treat - DJ JEFF!! The girls had fun personalizing their DJ Jeff t-shirts, some even got them signed by the man himself, before dancing the night away to some awesome tunes.

In between all these main events, this week some of our girls also drove to neighboring camps to take part in swim meets and gymnastic competitions where they got to show off their incredible skills. The evenings were just as lively with activities such as the building block game where the girls worked as teams to use foam blocks to build random objects such as a couch or castle; making smores - a delicious tradition here at camp and finally, singing our hearts out at an Annex led campfire.

We are now going to spend the next couple of days getting prepped and ready for visiting day. The girls are so excited and I can’t wait to meet you all too.

Lots of love once again,

Izzy
