Inters Week 4

Hello Inter Families!

It was so wonderful meeting all of you on Sunday!

Our week kicked off with Twin Night, where our Inters bonded with their camp sisters by creating awesome matching outfits which they showed off to the whole camp. It’s so lovely to see these connections grow!

Next on Sunday, we of course had Visiting Day, which seemed to arrive in the blink of an eye. It was truly heartwarming to witness the girls reuniting with their families amidst a day filled with activities, delicious food, and lots of smiles and laughter. Although there were a few tears at the end of the day, we quickly turned things around with a dance party in gymnastics to dance those tears away.

Midweek brought us two incredibly fun all-camp events - Miss Romrecer and Staff Swap. Each bunk competed in Miss Romrecer by dressing up their assigned Romrecer and putting on a hilarious show complete with music, catwalking and a question and answer session whilst all in character. Later in the evening, everyone enjoyed Staff Swap. The kids got to bid on activities using their Romaca dollars that different counselors were providing such as lunch on a boat or a pizza party.

Thursday brought about the highly anticipated Trip day! The Juniors and Inters went to Liberty Ridge Farm this year. There were so many activities to take part in such as a corn maze, a giant jumping pillow, slides, swings, games and more. The girls also got to go blueberry picking and spent all their pocket money in the gift shop. In true Romacan tradition we of course also stopped off at Topsy’s on the way back to eat some delicious ice cream.

We have had awesome evening activities once again this week such as a scavenger hunt, a spa night with the juniors and subs and a keychain making session. Tonight we are topping it all off by going on a camp out. The girls get to make s’mores, play games around the campfire and sleep in tents under the stars.

All my love,

Izzy
