Hello Romrec Families,
I am thrilled to share the latest happenings from our Romrec division here at Camp. It’s been an action-packed week filled with excitement, bonding, and unforgettable moments. Here’s a glimpse into what our Romrec campers have been up to:
Visiting Day Highlights: Last weekend, we had the pleasure of welcoming all our wonderful parents for Visiting Day. It was heartwarming to see Romrec campers reunite with their families and share their camp experiences. The Father-Daughter softball game stole the show with laughter and spirited competition. Afterward, our family BBQ by the waterfront provided the perfect setting to relax and reconnect. It was truly a special day for all. The BBQ was an amazing way to end the final visiting day for all families.
Romaca Soccer Tournament: This week, our Romrec girls showcased their teamwork and sportsmanship in the Romaca soccer tournament. The energy on the field was electric, and we were proud to see how supportive and encouraging they were toward one another. Go, Romrec!
All-Camp Fun: Leading an all-camp activity, Romrec took charge by giving younger bunks makeovers and putting on a delightful skit. Their creativity and leadership were on full display, leaving everyone smiling and cheering.
Trip Day Thursday was a relaxing yet thrilling trip day for Romrec at the waterfront. They enjoyed waterskiing and indulged in a delicious lunch featuring Caesar salad and grilled cheese. It was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation under the summer sun.
Weekend Plans: As we head into an exciting weekend, Romrec is gearing up for the Romrec show at Greylock. They’ve been preparing diligently and can’t wait to showcase their talents. Additionally, we’re thrilled to welcome back our alumni for Alumni Weekend, where they’ll share their cherished camp memories and reconnect with old friends.
Special Moments: Throughout the week, Romrec has been spending quality time with junior campers, fostering friendships and creating lasting memories. Tonight, they’ll join the juniors for an evening activity, strengthening our camp community even further.
We’re incredibly proud of our Romrec campers for their enthusiasm, leadership, and positive spirit all throughout camp. They continue to embody the values of Camp Romaca, making each day here truly special.
