Hello Sub Families,
Another week has flown by here at camp! We have had such sunny days, it has helped our days be full of outdoor fun!
This week we had Annex lead us in campfire, as Romrec was away on their trip to Cape Cod! It was so nice seeing the girls in the middle of the circle, we know they are counting down for their very own Romrec. All of our Subs showed up in their green spirit wear and made sure to scream during role call. “WE’VE GOT ALL THE SUUUBBBSSS IN OUR HANDS!”
Later in the week came Romacaween! All campers were split into groups, combining the divisions to create one big all camp activity. The girls were able to dress up as Under the Sea, Cowgirls, Barbie, Angels and more. Challenges and candy were scattered throughout our home in the woods. It was lots of fun!
Thursday night brought in DJ Jeff!!! Campers were given their t-shirt to take to Creative Arts and decorate in whatever style they wanted. It was so cool to see how all of the Subs decorated their shirts! As usual, DJ Jeff brought all of the excitement and hype with new hits! We danced the night away and got to see Romrec perform their dance routine! All we wanted to know was: DJ Jeff, “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!” Closing out the night, we all chanted “one more song” not wanting the night to slip away.
In just a short time, you will be here on camp with us and we could not be more excited! The Subs and I will all see you on Visiting Day!
